Said El-Yousfi has had a big week. After final-tabling the WPT500 (and finishing 2nd) a few days ago, he finds himself in the hunt for another final table here at the WPTDeepStacks event. And the possibility of making the final table just was just made slightly more likely by his recent double-up.

Although we missed most of the hand, when we arrived at the table the board showed Jack of Hearts Jack of Spades 5 of Clubs Queen of Clubs 3 of Diamonds. Said whooped with excitement as he flipped over his 3 of Clubs 3 of Spades, doubling up his stack against his opponent’s Ace of Spades Jack of Diamonds.

While he is by no means even close to the chip lead at this point, he has some room to breathe, and to pick his spots from here on out.
