Once again it was a set that busted a player from the tournament. This time it was Daniel Dubeau doing the ousting with a set of 5’s versus Kyle Janisse\s pair of Jacks.

The hand began with a K-J-5 flop, and Kyle (we found out later) was holding a J-9. The table checked around, and the turn was a 2.

Daniel checked, slow-playing his 5’s, and Kyle bet 100,000. Daniel, in turn, shoved and Kyle made the call. Kyle will collect $11,750 for his 15th place finish. Congratulations on a tournament well-played.

    Kyle Janisse
    Daniel Dubeau
