was dealt on the turn and Conrado pushed 3,100 chips into the pot. Giuseppe pondered and wagered 17,100. This gave Conrado reason to pause. He hemmed and hawed before deciding to fold.

Level 5 has now started. During a chip count during the break after level 4 Giuseppe Corapi was leading the pack with 130,000 chips.

Vineet Pahuja has been coming to Playground for big events on and off for over 5 years now, and both he and his brother Mukul have achieved a great deal of success here on the felts near Montreal. Mukul has already qualified for Day 2 with 109,000, and now Vineet is playing Live flights to try and join him.
We missed most of the preflop betting action, but by the time action got to Vineet in the bb, he was getting the remainder of his approximately 10K stack in the middle, finding a call from the utg player and a fold from the sb, who had presumably called the utg players opening limp. The sb folded to the all in and call, and the players’ cards were exposed:

It was a pretty classic set piece in poker, and the Aces held on a board that read: 
Two of the most experienced players in the field are sitting just one table away from one another – Eric Afriat and Victor Ramdin. Neither player is averse to making big moves when necessary, and just a few minutes after seeing Eric force a player at the other end of the table to fold on the flop with a raise all-in, Victor 3bet shoved over another player’s raise on a 
board. He too got the fold and added another 9- or 10K to his already healthy stack.
Day 1C in the WPT500 is now into level 2 and there are currently 218 entries in the flight with another 4 hours and 45 minutes left to register – it’s bound to be a fantastic day in this terrific event.
