After twelve 40-minute rounds, today’s WPTDeepStacks flight – Day 1D – is in the books. And after eight full hours of poker action, the player with the most chips is Montreal’s own Laurence Grondin, bagging an impressive 327,000 chips. Congratulations!
Other notable chip leaders include Griffin Benger with 242,500 chips and Dean Murphy, with 230,000 chips. Indeed, there were another several players with more than 175,000 chips each, and the full list of chips leaders will be made available shortly.
In the end, today’s field of 251 entries (including 38 re-entries) was whittled down to only 71. All of those 71 players will join the other four groups of Day 1 survivors on Day 2, which begins at 3pm tomorrow, Saturday November 3rd.
And don’t forget, one of those four flights has yet to be played! Starting at 10am tomorrow (Saturday November 3rd), the final $1500 + $150 Turbo WPTDeepStacks flight will commence. So if you want a shot at collecting part of the guaranteed $1,000,000 prize pool, get down here bright and early and get started!
