Bubble time!

They’re down to 19 players and 18 places will pay, so it’s the “hard” bubble. A mitigating factor in a bounty tourney is that shorter stacks may have already earned a few bounties, making it slightly less significant.

Or not – it doesn’t seem to be having too big an effect!

Down to 27

Event 11 is down to 27 players and there are some very large stacks on the tables.

We’ll be posting more photos and some counts as the tournament gets deeper.

At the first break…

We’ve reached the first break in the Bounty tournament – Event 11 – and the event is up to 180 players. There are a few Players Club members in the field: Anne-Marie Angelil, Marc Dupré and Trishelle Cannatella, plus quite a few players who have had nice cashes in other events in the Spring Classic: Noy Ung, Nick-Real Seide and Kyle Zechner, among others.

Cards are in the air for Event 11

And… Event 11 is underway! There are already 110 players in the tourney with more jumping in every minute. Final numbers after the break.

Event 11

We’re only 10 minutes away from the beginning of the final event of the Playground Poker Spring Classic, Event 11: $185 + $15 + $100 No Limit Hold’em Bounty.

Bounty events are always popular, and in the past $100 bounty events at Playground Poker have been very well attended. This is also the last chance players have in this series to win a Spring Classic bracelet.

We’ve witnessed some amazing poker in the past two weeks, and this event should continue that trend. Registration is open until just after 2pm, so come on out to Playground Poker and get your weekend started on the right foot!
