And… Day 1b is history!

After 16 levels of play Day 1b of Playground Poker Spring Classic Event 2 has come to a close and 56 players remain alive to move on to tomorrow’s Day 2. Chip counts and full seating assignments are coming soon.

Players are on break

The remaining 110 players have gone on their third and final break of the day. the current chip average is 61.8K. Blinds when players return will be 1K/2K/a200.

We’ll be going to find some big stacks and get some shots before the end of the day.

Break #2

Players are on their second break of the day. Of the 272 who started Day 1b, 183 remain. When they return to the tables blinds will be 400/800/a100. The chip average is now 37.4K.

Level 7 has begun

Players in Day 1b have just begun level 7 (blinds 250/500/a50). The final tally of entries today is 272, which added to the 167 entries yesterday adds up to a grand total of 439 total entries in Event 2 of the 2013 Playground Poker Spring Classic.

Today’s 272 players adds up to 6.8M total chips in play, and the chip average is 30.1K at the moment with 226 players still in contention.

Day 1b of Event 2 in the 2013 Playground Poker Spring Classic has begun! So far there are 217 players in the field – but as was the case yesterday, late players will continue to jump in the tournament until the first break.
