Approaching the dinner break

As we get closer to the 45-minute long dinner break after level 6, the tournament continues to move at a pretty torrid pace. There are a few players who have built up some very large stacks, including current chip leader Robert Brown who is playing almost 700K, plus several players hovering around the 500K mark: Michael Linster, Josh Field, Brian Beggs, Eddie Bangash, and now Derek Lerner, who is just stacking a huge pot.

Blinds are currently 2K/4K/a500 and there are 15 minutes left before the break.

Back from Break #2

Day 2 has just completed its second break of the day (breaks are after every 2nd level) with 149 players left in contention of the 294 that started the day and 735 entries that started one of the Day 1s.

A quick tour of the tables during the break and we found there to be some very large stacks being built by Josh Field, Brian Beggs, Ravi Raghavan, Matt Kay, plus Players Club members Jeff Gross and Jonathan Driscoll. Also among the larger stacks are Andrew Graham, Jason Hallée, Shannon Shorr, Nick-Real Seide, Jason Duval, and Ronnie Bardah.

At Playground Poker our goal is always to provide the best poker experience you can find in the world – and that goes for big events like the WPT Canadian Spring Championship as well as an every day $60 tournament and of course for cash games. Level 13 update

Day 2 is 15 minutes into the third level of the day and of the 294 players who started today the field is down to 204 who will be playing for 10 hour-long levels total today.

Of the high-profile players in the field, Players Club member Trishelle Cannatella, Joe Serock, and Darryll Fish have busted so far, and frequent Playground players Ben Menache, Dany Hamel-Boulay, Jonathan G (Jon14), Jino Veizi, and Garen Galenti have also been eliminated.
