After about half-an hour of heads-up play in which Hank Sitton managed to chip up to just about an equal stack with Setrak Suloukji, a hand developed very quickly which saw Hank get it in very good against Seto (as he’s known) only to lose as the board dealt a disaster for Hank.

The players were all in with (for Seto) against Hank’s – Seto was dominated. The players were all in preflop and the board ran out – giving Seto the nut straight.

The players had made a deal as heads-up play began to split the remaining prize pool less $10K and the Championship Belt.

Hank Sitton has eliminated Darren Elias in 3rd place. The tournament will now continue heads up between Hank and Setrak.

3rd place: Darren Elias, $35,987.00

Setrak is doing a number on the table as he has eliminated his second player in a row.

4th place: John Andress, $25,705.00

Shannon Shorr has been eliminated in 5th place.

5th place: Shannon Shorr, $20,564.00

Pascal Lefrançois is the first player to be eliminated on Day 3 of the $5000 + $300 No Limit Hold’em High Roller (Event 8). He was eliminated by Hank Sitton.

6th place: Pascal Lefrançois, $15,422.00

While the WPT Canadian Spring Championship plays down to 6, the remaining 6 players in the High Roller event are playing down to an eventual winner starting in just minutes. Everyone playing today is guaranteed a minimum of $15,422 – but they’re all playing for much more. The prize for first place is over $100K!
