Event 9, Final Payouts
The Champion!
The winner of Event 9 is Jaspal Brar! Jaspal also went deep in the WPT Canadian Spring Championship, and this is his first Championship at the Playground Poker Spring Classic. In second place was Joseph Hanna, better known around Playground Poker as “Jomaha”. Congratulations to both!
First paid exits
In 9th position, Douglas McGinnis, and in 10th place Jonathan Barette.
Bubble boy (and +1)
Ten players will cash in Event 9, and the bubble has been reached as Ryan Smith (12th place) and Francis Lamothe (11th place) have been eliminated from the tournament.
Ryan Smith deserves special recognition for the fact that overall he has been one of the strongest performers throughout the whole Playground Poker Spring Classic. We’re going to collect more detailed data on this, but from Event 1 to now he has consistently gone deep in event after event.
