Monday nights are shorthanded poker nights here at Playground, and tonight is no exception in the 2014 Playground Poker Spring Classic. At 7:30 action will get underway in Event 3, a $200 + $20 No Limit Hold’em 6-Max tournament that should see a heavy turnout – especially considering that the weather is fine (if a little chilly) and the bridge is open (as it will be for the rest of the week).
Tonight is likely to be a very good skills test of all of the runners that enter the event. Typically, the weekly 6-Max is among the toughest of all of the fields from day to day – and add to that a solid cohort of experienced players from Ontario, further West in Canada, and New York and New England and it’s shaping up to be an event that “punches above its weight” in terms of the skill level that will be required to win.
Cards are in the air in about two and a half hours – good luck!
