The bubble is approaching quickly and the players know – and can feel – that the impact of their every action is amplified. Luckily for everyone the pace of play has remained relatively quick – no 5-minute tanking – but big decisions are being made every hand.
A hand just played out between two of the players who have been among the chip leaders the whole way. Mark Fitzpatrick raised to 15K from the cutoff and Jeff Cote re-raised from the big blind to 36K. Mark decided to flat call and we saw a flop.
