The next event in the 7 Year Anniversary celebrations is a $70 + $10 NL Hold’em 8-Max tournament that got underway at 12:00pm today. The 8-Max format is very popular at Playground Poker Club, as it provides each player with a little more room at the table while not transforming it into a true short-handed tournament. Playing 8 per table is like the “Goldilocks” number – not to few, not to many… just right.
This is a single-day tournament that should wrap up in the early evening, and features 20K starting stacks and 20 minute long blind levels. This is a freeze-out tournament and late registration closes at the end of the first break.
