Registration has closed a few minutes ago for Day 1a of the $500 + $50 Deepstack Re-entry, and a total of 83 players turned up for this first of two starting flights. Of these players, there were 7 re-entries, brining the total entries up to 90 for the day.

The players in the $500 + $50 Deepstack Re-entry have just returned from their first break of the day, and registration is still steadily increasing. There are currently 73 entries so far plus 3 re-entries, and late registration is still open for nearly 1 more hour. Play is currently in level 5, and registration will close once level 6 has been completed, at 6:30pm
If you are unable to make it in time to participate in todays flight, there is another starting flight scheduled at 11am tomorrow, where registration will once again be open until the end of level 6.
The $550 Deepstack is midway through level 3, and registration has climbed up to 60 entries. Players will have until the end of level 6 to register into this flight – or re-enter, should they be unfortunate enough to bust early. Day 1b is scheduled for 11am tomorrow, and once again registration will remain open though until the end of level 6.

The $550 Deepstack has been underway for two full levels now and so far there are 57 players in the tournament. Each player is allowed one entry and one re-entry per day, so we expect numbers to grow considerably through the extended late registration period. As well, prospective players should know that there were quite few online satellite seats awarded during the past several weeks, which will definitely bump up the overall tournament registration between today’s entries and tomorrow’s.
In less than an hour, the largest buy-in tournament of this Power Weekend is set to begin – the $500 + $50 NL Hold’em Deepstack Re-entry tournament. This event features 2 Day 1s – today at 3:00pm and tomorrow at 11:00am – and is a little bit different than most of the multi-day re-entry tournaments we run here at Playground Poker Club – in this one, players are permitted one entry and one re-entry per starting day!
Entry and/or re-entry is permitted until the end of level 6, so players have until 6:15 to jump in the action.
