There were 137 entries in Day 1c of the $100,000 Guaranteed All-Stars for Starlight event, and at the end of 14 levels there were just 26 players left. These players have all qualified for Day 2 of the event!

The players in Day 1c returned from a break a few minutes ago and we took the opportunity to find the chip leaders in this flight while they were away from the tables.

When registration in today’s Day 1c of the All-Stars for Starlight tournament wrapped up there were 137 entries for the day, meaning that well over 300 players will be required to meet the $100,000 prize pool guarantee. There’s nothing that poker players like more than added tournament value, and considering that Day 1d will be played on a Friday evening, it’s possible that the guarantee will be met – but it’s also possible that there will be a very nice overlay!

In any case – in the action today, through the first 6 levels there have been 38 players eliminated, leaving 99 players still in the action, competing for a spot in Day 2 – and preferably with a large stack!

Action today will continue through 8 more levels of play, and then tonight’s Day 1d flight (open to anyone including players who have already tried a Day 1) gets underway at 7:00pm.

The players in the All-Stars for Starlight Day 1c have just returned from their first break of the day, and with the end of the break came the end of today’s late registration period. There were a total of 137 entrants in today’s third of four starting flights in the tournament.

Poker players are always looking for extra “value” and this event is shaping up to be a great source of value – there is a very strong chance of an overlay in this tournament. Friday night was always destined to be the busiest of all of the starting flights, so be sure to get here as early as you can to lock up your seat tonight!

It’s an early morning for poker players, but nevertheless play has begun in Day 1c of the All-Stars for Starlight tournament here at Playground Poker Club! We’re fortunate to be joined today by our tournament host and Director of Charitable Initiatives, Larry Robinson, who is playing in today’s flight.

So far this morning there are 91 players at the tables, with quite a few more still expected during the late registration period. Players can join today’s flight any time until 1:10pm – so there’s still plenty of time to jump in the action.

What makes it even more compelling is the fact that with two flights already in the books there were fewer than 300 entrants… which means that there’s a chance of a very nice overlay!
