Once the final two tables were formed, it was Yannick Kwan who was the first to bite the dust, losing a flip with 99 vs the AQ of Michel Bergeron, and then sliding his last few chips in with A2 versus the AK of George Kazarian.
Carlo Nini also lost a flip for his tournament life after shoving with and losing to the of Pavel Covaliov, brining the tournament into hand-for-hand on the bubble.
The 14 finalists decided to pay 14th place from the prize pool, removing $140 from both the first and second place prizes to award $280 to the next player eliminated. With that, the 8-Max is now in the money!
Congratulations!
