In the final moments of level 14, Nicolas Basile opened to 6,500 from utg, and found calls from Joseph Abou Khalil (middle position) and Francois Roy (hijack) before Gaetan Laperriere (button) 3bet to 17,100. The blinds got out of the way, and all three live players completed the bet to go 4-way to the flop.

Action checked around to the turn, and with showing, Joseph fired a bet of 25,000. Francois let go of his hand, and Gaetan moved all-in for around 115,000 – prompting a fold from Nicolas. Joseph made the quick call and tabled for a flopped set, while Gaetan tabled a drawing-dead . The river was dealt as a formality, and Joseph sprung up to nearly 375,000 for the commanding chip lead as play enters level 15.
