Registration has come to a close in the $200 + $30 + $100 NL Hold’em Bounty Event, and 159 bounty hunters turned up for this kickoff event to the Playground Power Weekend.
Once the tournament staff crunches the numbers, we will release the official prize pool information, as well as the payout structure.
Since this is a one-day event, action will continue tonight until the tournament comes to a close.
The first break of the night is nearing us here in the Bounty Event, and registration is now up to 148 players and counting. The $35,000 guarantee has already been surpassed, with every additional entry now increasing the total prize-pool.
A few players have already hit the rail, meaning that some of the participants have already pocketed cash prizes since a $100 bounty is awarded for every elimination in the event.
Late registration is moments away from closing, and anyone wishing to participate in this tournament should make their way to the Cage as soon as possible.

The Bounty Event is into level 2, and players still have roughly an hour to go before the late registration period closes. So far the tournament has attracted 110 players, with this number growing by the minute.
The Playground Power Weekend has officially begun, and the kickoff tournament to this 4 Event mini-series is a $200 + $30 + $100 NL Hold’em Bounty Event. Play took off at 7pm, and late registration will remain open through until the end of the first break at 8:30pm. So far in these very early stages of level 1 a total of 69 players are already registered.
Other tournaments featured in this edition of the Power Weekend include a $1,000 + $100 WCC Warm-Up re-entry tournament with a $100,000 guaranteed prize-pool (Friday at 11am), a $125 + $25 “Strangers in the Night Fundraiser” charity event featuring 4 starting flights and a $75,000 guarantee (Friday through Monday), and a $200 + $20 8-Max with a $20,000 guarantee (Sunday at 7pm).
