The $200 + $20 NL Hold’em 8-Max Event was the closing event of the June Playground Power Weekend, and attracted a field of 124 players of which 13 will secure a payout. The $24,056.00 prize pool will be divided according to the following payout structure:

Registration has come to a close in the 8-Max, and this last event of the Playground Power Weekend attracted a field of 124 players. In a few moments we will release the prize pool and payout information.
Mike Lafable sat down and went straight to work, running up his 25,000 starting stack to a massive 94,125 in just 4 levels of play. A few others have managed to double their stack as well in these first levels of the night, including Imran Hussein (55,750), Kevin Khun (54,075), Arthur W (49,600) and Peter Liakopoulos (49,350).

The 8-Max is into level 3, and registration is still open with 78 players currently registered. Anyone wishing to participate in the event can do so until 8:30pm.
The last event of the Playground Power Weekend has just kicked off, and is a $200 + $20 NL Hold’em 8-Max tournament featuring a $20,000 guarantee. This is a one-day event with 20 minute blinds and a 25,000 starting stack, and action will therefore continue tonight until our champion is crowned.
Late registration will remain open through until the end of the first break, allowing players to register up until 8:30pm. So far at the start of level 1 there are 32 players in their seats, however more are jumping in by the minute.
