The final flight of the Strangers of the Night Charity Poker Tournament has been completed, and the stage is being set for Day 2. From the 490 entries that took place over 4 starting flights, there were 100 stacks that qualified for Day 2, including a double from Francois Jacob (only the biggest of his two stacks will move forward).
Day 1D added 37 players into the mix from a starting field of 162 players, with the biggest stack of the flight belonging to Vincent Trepanier, who amassed an armory of 212,000 chips. Full counts from this last flight are included in the table below, whereas the full list of Day 2 qualifiers can be found here.
Action resumes at 1pm tomorrow, and will play through 14 levels of 30 minutes each before the surviving players carry their chips onto Day 3, where our tournament champion will be crowned. The money bubble will burst sometime tomorrow, and the top 49 players will secure a cash prize of at least $310, with a massive $19,240 reserved for the eventual winner.
