Players in Day 1C of the Strangers in the Night Event just took a short break. 73 players are left, and some of the eliminated players left the scene saying that they would double back tonight for Day 1D. Who can blame them, considering this Event is looking at a substantial overlay. Added value is always a nice incentive for tournament poker players to go the extra mile.
At the break, Mario Chevrette was leading the remaining 8 tables, with 107K. William Pauzé was close, with 100.5K. There is about 3 hours left to the Event, and Day 1D gets underway at 7pm sharp – your last chance to qualify a stack for Day 2 and the awesome 75K prize pool!
