The Strangers in the Night charity Event counted 490 entries spanned over 4 starting flights. Once again, there was an overlay covered by the house. $13,750 were added to the buy-ins as overlay, making this Event a great value tournament. Players contributed to the Strangers in the Night charity, while getting more for their dollars – what more can a player ask for?
99 players return today for Day 2 of this 3-day Event, and are now being directed to their respective table. François Côté is leading the pack, having literally destroyed Day 1A. Him and Joël Giguère are well above anyone else, and we will keep an eye on their progress.
We will play 14 30-minute levels today, and with 49 players paid, this should bring us well into the money. The few survivors that will bag their chips at the end of this day will come back tomorrow, Monday at 7pm, for the completion of the Event and the crowning of the Strangers in the Night Champion.
The tournament director will announce ”Shuffle up and deal” in a few moments.
Good luck to all qualifiers!
