The online Day 1 for the Playground 200 in the March Power Weekend was held on Sunday, March 18th and attracted a solid 72 entries who played through 14 levels. At the end of the evening, just 15 players remained, all of whom have qualified for Day 2 in the tournament.
The chip leader after the online Day 1 is Mat Aymerich, who has taken a great first step to improving on his 10th place finish in the February Playground 200. His 232K stack is a very strong result, and judging by past events could prove to be a top-10 stack once all the Day 1s are tallied.
The first live Day 1 will get underway at 7:00pm on March 22 – this Thursday – followed by two additional live Day 1s on March 23rd (7:00pm) and March 24th (11:00am).
