Hand-for-hand play only lasted a few minutes. After a few busts after the break, Rottanak Ly and Priam Syllion built a pot of almost 200K, and Ly was all-in on the river, covering Syllion, who went in the tank with his remaining 100K or so. It was the last table to finish on that hand, and Syllion was puzzled by his opponent’s play. He asked the 20 questions, including the old: ‘Will you show if I fold?’, but Ly did not bat a lash.
Syllion finally called, and the hands were tabled:
Board:
Ly:
Syllion:
Out on the bubble, with a flopped top 2-pair. Syllion gave the crowd a smile, and walked away. A minimum of $320 is in the bank for all remaining players.
