Mathieu Aymerich came from the online Day 1 as the biggest qualified stack. After taking a beat against Marcel André Péroval, he was left with almost nothing. He did double those up with an ace high after dodging an unbelievable amount of outs, but fell to Alex Barbosa, who called his 250K button all-in from the big blind.

Aymerich: 5 of Spades 4 of Hearts
Barbosa: Queen of Spades Jack of Diamonds

Board: Ace of Hearts 6 of Spades 8 of Spades Jack of Spades King of Diamonds

Marcel André Péroval followed him. His 450K went in with Ace of Clubs 6 of Diamonds, but he couldn’t pull the upset against Joël Giguère’s Ace of Diamonds Jack of Clubs

Aymerich cashed $1,440, and Péroval got $1,740. Next pay jump is at 12 players.
