Karl Sahyouni’s stack had dwindled down quite a bit in the last level or two, having been forced to let go of hands a little too often for his own good. This time, he limped in from the middle position, and Dan Edery jumped on it. He went all-in for almost 2M chips, and when the action got back to Shayouni, the call was quick.

Sahyouni: Ace of Diamonds King of Hearts
Edery: Jack of Hearts 10 of Spades

Board: 5 of Hearts 6 of Clubs 6 of Hearts King of Spades 3 of Spades

Sahyouni nearly doubled up, and is now sitting on about 4.7M, tied for first with Makan Salimi. This is because Salimi took out Jean-Maurice Lauzon in a pre-flop showdown.

Salimi: Ace of Spades Queen of Hearts
Lauzon: Ace of Diamonds Jack of Diamonds

Board: 9 of Clubs 4 of Hearts 3 of Diamonds King of Diamonds 3 of Spades

    Dan Edery: 7th – $4,410
    Jean-Maurice Lauzon: 6th – $5,330

    Good job!

    Dan Edery
    Jean-Maurice Lauzon
