Makan Salimi doubled his 3.5M stack at the expense of Karl Sahyouni. Salimi’s Ace of Spades King of Spades flopped an ace, and Sahyouni’s 8 of Hearts 8 of Clubs did not manage to catch up.

Alex Barbosa was then the victim of a bad beat. His Ace of Hearts King of Clubs got undone by Sahyouni’s Ace of Clubs 9 of Clubs when the board revealed a nine.

Barbosa got $16,000 for his 4th place finish. Congratulations!

Salimi now has about 8.5M, Ellis has about 6.5M, and Sahyouni has 4M. Despite the difference between the counts, they decided to chop what they could – they took $16,160 each – and $3,000 extra will go to the winner.
