    The conclusion

    2018/03/26 - 18:54 by Jôle Simard

The Playground 200, the marquee event of the March Power Weekend, will see its conclusion tonight at Playground Poker Club. From the 157 Day 2 qualifiers, only 23 remained after yesterday’s 10 levels of action.

Three tables are getting ready to welcome these Day 3 players, who will reunite with their chips at 7:00pm. The tournament staff is sorting out the bags and placing them in front of the seats decided by the random draw.

Our Day 3 qualifiers are waiting for the gong, trying to empty their mind and be in the best shape to tackle the task at hand: outlast all opponents and put their hand on the $26,262.00 first prize! Although a lot of poker will be played tonight, Joël Giguère is currently in the best spot to address that challenge, with his crushing 1,810,000 stack. This being said, many players can hurt him, some of which have the deep-run experience to do so, and at this point, any misstep can be very costly.

In a few minutes, cards will be in the air. Stay tuned for live updates all the way to the crowning of our champion!
