Event 1 goes in 45 minutes!

Event 1 of the Playground Poker Spring Classic 2014 is set to start with Day 1a at noon today and the Club is already buzzing with activity!

The $135 + $15 No Limit Hold’em Re-entry tournament is a traditional kick-off event in Playground Poker Club festivals, and over the years this format has proven to be a very popular format for players of all levels. With 4 Day 1s running over two days, the prize pool should swell well beyond the $100,000 Guarantee.

One of the trademarks of big events here at Playground Poker Club is that we award custom-made Champion’s Belts to the winners. Well, the belt for the winner of the 2014 WPT Canadian Spring Championship has arrived, and it looks amazing!

Stars from near and far!

There’s just a week to go until the kickoff of the 2014 edition of the Playground Poker Spring Classic and under two weeks to the start of the WPT Canadian Spring Championship (with a $1M Guarantee!).

With the event just around the corner, we’re getting ready to welcome some of our favourite star players back to Playground Poker Club.
