The winner of the deepstack turbo!

And the winner of the event is… Jean Rheaume!

The players made a deal with 8 remaining to slightly change the payout structure of the event, which accounts for the difference between the amount awarded to Jean and the amount specified in the original payout table.

1st place: Jean Rheaume, $4,000

1st place: Jean Rheaume

  • As the third flight of the Main Event winds down, 200 players have taken their seats for Event 7, a $100 + $10 Deepstack Turbo tournament that will play out to the end tonight. Deepstack = players start with 25K in chips; Turbo = blind levels are just 15 minutes long.

Due to the heavy rush of players in the Main Event, it’s going to be a little more difficult than usual to get alternates into the event.
