  • We are now on the bubble of the televised final table of 6, as we lost another player to bring the field down to 7.

We saw Marco 3bet to 350K from the big blind after a raise to 125K from Serge in the hijack, and a flat from Derrick on the button. All three players went to the flop, which showed 8 of Diamonds 10 of Hearts Jack of Clubs, and Marco, first to act, open shoved his stack of over 2 million. Serge made the call, and Derrick let the two battle it out heads-up.

Marco: Ace of Spades King of Hearts

Serge: Jack of Spades 10 of Spades

The turn 3 of Clubs and river 5 of Hearts didn’t change anything, and Marco was eliminated in 8th place for $68,992. Not a bad score for a satellite winner! Serge is now closing on the 7M chip mark.

Amir: Ace of Clubs King of Clubs

Alexandre: 9 of Clubs 9 of Spades

The board of 6 of Hearts 5 of Clubs 10 of Diamonds 6 of Diamonds Queen of Hearts was good for Alexandre’s pair of 9s, and he doubled up to just over 2.1M chips.

Amir: Ace of Clubs King of Clubs

Alexandre: 9 of Clubs 9 of Spades

Le tableau de 6 of Hearts 5 of Clubs 10 of Diamonds 6 of Diamonds Queen of Hearts accorda la victoire à Alexandre, et il est maintenant a plus de 2.1M.

  • We’ve just lost another player here at the final table of the WPT Montreal Main Event, as Ludovic Lacay got all his chips in on the turn, with the board showing 10 of Spades 6 of Spades 3 of Spades Jack of Hearts, and was called by Sylvain Siebert.

Ludovic: 10 of Clubs Jack of Clubs

Sylvain: King of Spades King of Hearts

Ludovic had a lot of cards he needed to fade to survive the hand with his two-pair, and unfortunately for him it was the 6 of Clubs that fell on the river, giving Sylvain a higher two-pair. Ludovic collected $51,817 for his final table run.

Ludovic: 10 of Clubs Jack of Clubs

Sylvain: King of Spades King of Hearts

  • We’ve just seen our first elimination on this final table of the WPT Montreal Main Event, as Antoine was eliminated after getting his chips in best.

Mukul Pahuja raised from the hijack position to 125K, and Antoine called from the big blind. The board was Queen of Clubs 6 of Clubs 9 of Hearts, and Antoine checked to Mukul, who put out a bet of 240K. Antoine tanked for a minute, and then announced all-in for a little over 1M in chips. Mukul snap called, tabling his overpair of King of Hearts King of Spades, which were behind Antoine’s Queen of Diamonds 9 of Diamonds for top two pair. The turn however changed everything, as it was the King of Clubs, and Antoine was now drawing dead. The meaningless 8 of Clubs hit the river, and Antoine was sent to the cashiers to pick up his $38,135 score.

Mukul: King of Hearts King of Spades

Antoine: Queen of Diamonds 9 of Diamonds

Antoine était bien parti, mais avec le King of Clubs sur le turn, il n’avait plus de chance de gagner la main. Le 8 of Clubs fut la rivière, et Antoine a été sorti en 10e place, collectant 38 135$.
