  • We have lost a few players in the last level and a half.

    • 12th place: Antoine Poirier, $1,865

Antoine took advantage of an unopened pot to shove his 590K stack from the button, and Felix Sides snap called from the big blind with 8 of Spades 8 of Hearts. Antoine turned over Queen of Hearts 2 of Clubs, and failed to improve once the board ran out.

    • 13th place: David Guay $1,575

Simon Pier raised his button to 215K, and David Guay quickly shoved his 1.5M stack from the big blind. Simon Pier thought about it, but not for too long, and eventually called with Queen of Hearts Queen of Spades. David turned over a pair of fours, and saw no help on the board to finish in 13th place.

    • 14th place: Joey Silver, $1,575

Everyone folded around to Joey Silver’s button, and he shoved his remaining 715K with Ace of Hearts Queen of Spades and got called by the Mehdi in the BB, who turned over 7 of Diamonds 7 of Spades. The board of 8 of Diamonds 3 of Hearts 6 of Hearts Jack of Clubs 10 of Spades was no help to Joey, and Mehdi added a few more chips to his already monster stack.

    • 15th place: Mohamad Mahbouba, $1,575

After a calm time of it from early in Day 1, Mohamad had an extremely “interesting” (read: swingy) end of Day 2 and Day 3. He finally succumbed to Erica when he shoved into her pocket Aces.

    • 16th place: Stephen Baker, $1,335

Stephen Baker was eliminated after it folded around to his small blind and he open-shoved his 1.2M chip stack. Mehdi in the BB was sitting on a monster stack of over 5.2M, but after thinking for a while called holding Queen of Spades 10 of Spades. Stephen had 9 of Spades 9 of Hearts. The flop came out Ace of Spades 2 of Spades 4 of Spades and the 8 of Spades on the turn sealed the deal. The river was a meaningless Ace of Hearts.

    • 17th place: Patrick David Hu-A-Kam, $1,335
    • 18th place: Alexandre Boyer, $1,335
