  • Day 3 of event 1 is action packed so far! We’ve already lost 14 players in the first level and a half. In the past few minutes, all three tables had a big hand going on.

On table 60, we saw Joey Silver double up to just over 1M with his Queen of Spades Queen of Clubs , which held against Erica Freeman’s King of Spades 8 of Spades.

On table 59, it was Mathieu Tanguay’s Ace of Spades King of Hearts which held versus George Kazarian’s all-in shove with Ace of Diamonds 8 of Spades. The pot was also worth around 1M chips. George walks out with 1.135$ for his run.

On table 58, we arrived at the river to see Mehdi Alami bet 400K into a pot of around 1.5M on a 8 of Clubs 10 of Hearts 10 of Diamonds 9 of Diamonds 6 of Clubs. Phannasophea Muong tanked for a minute before announcing all-in for about 1M more. When Mehdi asked the dealer for a count, Phannasophea misinterpreted ‘count’ for ‘call’, and tabled his Queen of Hearts Jack of Hearts for the high straight. Once the issue was resolved, Mehdi was given his rightful option of calling or folding, and he mucked his hand.
