  • Here are some updates here at Day 2 of the PartyPoker WPT Montreal Main Event.

    • We lost Mike Watson on the first hand of the day.
      • Griffin Benger is on a run, picking up two big pots early in level 11 before busting Vanessa Selbst with KK over JJ. He has managed to bring his stack up from 115K to 270K in the first two levels of the day.
      • Matt Salsberg, who was the WPT Season XI Player of the Year after scoring 6 cashes, 3 final tables and 1 title last season, was eliminated near the end of level 11, as his AA were cracked on the river.
        • Last years WPT Montreal champion Johnathan Roy hit the rail early in the day.
      • Local sensation Laurence Grondin ran into Kevin MacPhee’s aces with her AK, eliminating her from the tournament
    • Kevin MacPhee is running his stack up, and is now over 300K
    • Isabelle Mercier is on a rollercoaster ride here in Day 2, but still has just over 15 big blinds for the moment.
