The PartyPoker WPT Montreal Main Event – Day 4 is just minutes away from beginning, and there are 18 players left all going for that $517,049 first prize and a chance at joining the WPT Champions Club.
Leading the field is Sylvain Siebert, who finished 5th in this same event last november, and is looking to improve on that score. He is bringing nearly 3 million in chips to the tables. Right behind him in chips is Derrick Rosenbarger, who has a stack of 2.8M.
The WPT Canadian Spring Championship winner from this past May, Amir Babakhani, is also still in the running, holding just over 1.6M.
Poker heroes Griffin Benger, Ludovic Lacay and Jonathan Little are also here today, but are all grinding short stacks.
Day 4 will play down until we have our televised final table of 6, which will be played out tomorrow afternoon at 3pm. The unofficial final table will begin at 10 players.
