  • The players have taken their seats – all 347 of them (or close, the small stack from last night’s starting flight hasn’t claimed his T1,200 stack) and cards are in the air for Day 2 of Event 1 of the PokerStars Canada Cup.

Today will be a gruelling day of poker. The event is slated to play through a full 17 levels today. From level 14 to 19 these are 30-minute levels, and from level 20 to 29, 40-minute levels, and from level 30, 50-minute levels. Note that if the event reaches a “clean” point for a break before the 17 levels are played (18 players remaining, for instance) then the Tournament Director is likely to suspend play and bring the remaining players back for Day 3 on Monday.

By the way, the prize pool information has been published.

    Good luck to everyone!
