Event 11 in the PokerStars Canada Cup has begun. This is the $500 + $50 Pot Limit Omaha 3 Lives tournament, which is slated to run over 2 days. This tournament format has been featured in every large festival that has been held at Playground Poker Club, and it is also used once a week – on Tuesday – in the Playground daily schedule and has become the favourite format for an Omaha tournament over the years. In this format players start with 10K chips and 2 additional “Life” chips that may be redeemed at any time in the first 5 levels of the event.
