Table 65 has started the day with 3 of the top 10 chip leaders to begin Day 2: Prosper Azoulay (1st, 283,500), Alex Plourde (5th, 226,000), and Steve Pouliot (9th, 202,500). We’ll keep a close eye on the action there to see if any fireworks are on offer between the big stacks.
There has also been a slight modification of the schedule for the day – play will continue for a minimum of 12 levels – but the goal will be to play until the tournament has reached a final table (10 players remaining). Regardless, if the final table is reached before the end of level 26, play will be halted.
This change is practical and possible due to the fact that there were only 133 players to start the day (and just 129 remain, 10 minutes into the first level of the day).
