2018/02/22 - 18:45 by Jôle Simard

Cadillac, on the second hand after the break, open-raised all-in from the button with Queen of Clubs 10 of Hearts. He was called by Félix Miron from the small blind with 10 of Clubs 9 of Clubs. Miron hit a 9 on the flop, and dodged 2 live cards and a double gut shot to double his 78K stack.

Cadillac was left with about 1 big blind, which went in on the following hand with 8 of Diamonds 4 of Hearts. Miron took him out with Queen of Hearts Queen of Spades.

Shortly after, a huge pot was disputed pre-flop. Luc Théberge, who had been very patient with his short stack, Félix Miron, who had just won Cadillac’s Bounty, and Nizar T were all fully invested.

Luc Théberge: 8 of Spades 8 of Hearts
Félix Miron: Ace of Spades Queen of Spades
Nizar T: 10 of Spades 10 of Clubs

Board: Jack of Clubs 4 of Spades 3 of Hearts 10 of Diamonds King of Spades

Ouch! Nizar turned a set of tens, but fell to Miron’s nut straight, hit on the river. Nizar had lost a good portion of his stack to Michael Chouinard on the previous hand, but still had more chips than Théberge. His count got him the 4th spot.

Cadillac: 6th – $230
Luc Théberge: 5th – $290
Nizar T: 4th – $370

Congratulations!

Cadillac
Luc Théberge
