Today marks the final day of the February 2018 Power Weekend, and today’s daytime tournament is a $70 + $10 NL Hold’em 8-Max event. It’s a freezeout tournament whose “special” feature is that there are just 8, not 9 or 10, players at each table. There is a $3000 guaranteed prize pool, and players are invited to register any time between now and 1:30pm.
So far, 38 players have taken seats in the event, and each of them has started with a 15K stack. Play will continue through as many 20-minute levels as required to finish – the whole thing will most likely wrap up at around 7:30pm tonight.
