Danick Landriault took more than half of Mathieu Daigneault’s stack after a great check on the turn and a nice value bet on the river, disguising his flopped ace. Daigneault then shoved his 72K from an early position, and managed to double those up on Étienne Lanteigne, who looked him up from the big blind with
. Daigneault’s
pulled through, completing a flush on the river and crippling Lanteigne.
This is how Laiteigne was left with just 28K which went in after Landriault raised to 22K and Michael Mannucci called. Of course, both players completed the all-in bet, and they went to the flop 3-way. Daigneault contested Mannucci’s flop bet, but released on the turn, letting him go to showdown:
