The players are now on a 45-minute long dinner break. While the players are enjoying a nice buffet there are sure to be a few racing from the airport to try and make the end of late registration, which closes at the end of this break (in 35 minutes).
There are a large number of household names (at least household names in poker-playing houses) in the event but some of the biggest names have already busted from Day 1a. Some of the eliminations so far include: Scott Siever, Antonio Esfandiari, Peter Jetten, Marvin Rettenmaier, and Chris Moorman.
After the break, players will play another 4 levels with one 15-minute break after level 8. To qualify for Day 2, players will be at the tables until just before midnight.
Remember – for players who don’t yet have a ticket for tomorrow, there is a $330 satellite that starts in 50 minutes (8pm).
