  • Victor Ramdin was extremely short of chips, but still… the poker gods didn’t have to eliminate him from the tournament in such a brutal fashion.

Victor open shoved his under-50K stack from middle position and Guillaume Darcourt called from the button. Sam Tsehai folded from the small blind while Patrick Eskandar called as well from the big blind.

The flop was 2 of Diamonds 9 of Diamonds 9 of Spades and Guillaume and Patrick both checked. The turn was the 7 of Hearts. Patrick bet 50K and Guillaume quickly called. The river was the 9 of Hearts and Patrick checked. Guillaume thought for a minute and bet 75K. Patrick called immediately and flipped over 7 of Spades 6 of Spades for a rivered full house. Guillaume mucked and Victor was disgusted as he flipped over his pocket 2 of Clubs 2 of Hearts for a flopped (but smaller) boat.
