Event 4 – $135 + $15 No Limit Hold’em Shootout started at 5pm on Sunday and by the time it was all over, frequent Playground tournament player Eric Schanck won out over Kyle Myers to take the top prize of $3,095 and the Fall Classic bracelet.

The final table of Event 4 – $135 + $15 No Limit Hold’em Shootout – is about to begin! It includes the following ten players:

Players start with 200k, and the blinds are 1.2k and 2.4k with an ante of 200.

Event 4 has its first three qualifiers for the final round. Charles-Eric Benoit, Osman Soubra, and Jamie Marciano Pegonetti have all won their starting tables and will be the first three players on the final table.

Event 4 has moved into level 13 and some of them are getting close to a first-round conclusion. Here is the current situation, table by table:

• Table 67 – 3 players remain. Reuben Finkel is the chip leader on the table.
• Table 32 – 5 players remain.
• Table 30 – 3 players remain. Francis Trudeau is the chip leader on the table.
• Table 27 – 2 players remain.
• Table 26 – 3 players remain.
• Table 25 – 5 players remain.
• Table 28 – 5 players remain.
• Table 29 – 5 players remain.
• Table 31 – 4 players remain.
• Table 66 – 6 players remain.

The time when the first table finishes is significant because the blinds at the final table will start at those levels.

Event 4 is about to go on its first break, and we have another sold-out event! For now 88 still remain.

Event 4 of this year’s Playground Poker Fall Classic uses the popular – and fun – shootout format. This format is different in that players are not in one big pool divided among various tables at the beginning and subject to being moved at any time – instead, you start the event at a particular table and if you’re going to move on, you have to defeat everyone and win that table.

If you win your table, then two things happen. A) You are in the money, and B) you come together with the other table winners and play down to a champion.

Event 4 was capped at 100 players (making 10 tables of 10 players each) and it was sold out the minute the event started.
