Players are seated and Kara Scott has kicked things off with the traditional “shuffle up and deal” and just like that Day 1b is underway. The tournament clock says that 218 players are already seated, and with late registration continuing through the end of the break after level 6 it’s clear that this will be a typically well-attended flight.
They’re playing 10 levels today with 15 minute breaks after every second level plus a 45 minute break after level 6. Late registration will close at around 7:15 and the day will finish up before midnight.
