Photos from Levels 10 and 11

Players have just come off their last break of the night, and have two more levels left to complete before they bag their remaining chips for Day 2, which will begin  tomorrow, Monday September 30th, at 12:00pm. Level 12 is underway, where the blinds are 800/1,600/a200.

Here is a gallery of known players and notable stacks through levels 10 and 11:

Over 400K

With two levels left tonight some players will start to take their stacks to great heights as the differential between theirs and short stacks plays more and more in the big stack’s favour. One player – Patrick St-Michel – has already amassed over 400K today and there are about 10 players hovering around the 200K mark that we’ll monitor as Day 1c draws to a close.

Approaching the end of level 11

Day 1c is almost at the end of level 11 and there are still 265 players remaining. In ten minutes the blinds will go up to 800/1,600/a200 for the second-last level of the night. The current chip average is 69.1K.

Big Stacks Coming out of the Break

We did a tour of the room during the dinner break and found some of the larger stacks that players have built so far.

  • Robert Leboeuf – 185K
  • Nicholas Soller – 150K
  • Dan Szul – 150K
  • Patrick Goyette – 135K

Remember you can follow live chip counts here.

Dinner Break

The players have reached the end of level 8 which means that it’s time for a 45 minute long dinner break. There are 389 players left and when they return from the break blinds will be 400/800/a100. The chip average is 47.2K on a total of 18.3M in play.
