The chips have been unbagged, the players have taken their seats, photographs have been snapped… we’re all ready for the beginning of the Final Table of the Main Event, Event 8 of the Full Tilt Poker Montreal Festival!

The action is set to start in just a few minutes with 9 players starting the day. There are 26 minutes left in level 29 with blinds at 40K/80K/a10K.

The first player to be eliminated today will earn $27,269 and the prizes go up from there, all the way to $260,581 for first place!

Event 14 has a Winner!

Irene Tzanetopoulos outlasted a huge 218-player field to win Event 14, a $135 + $15 + $50 No Limit Hold’em Bounty event. After a deal was made 7 ways she took home the Full Tilt Trophy plus $6,100 for the victory. Congratulations Irene!

Menard wins Event 13!

Congratulations to Alexandre Menard who won Event 13 (1st place, $1,189 plus the Full Tilt trophy), beating out a field of 83 other players. Congratulations Alexandre!

Bharat Shetty wins the PLO 3 Lives Event 12

Bharat Shetty beat a stacked field to win Event 12, a PLO 3 Lives Event in the Full Tilt Poker Montreal Festival. He took home $4,044 for the win, plus (of course) the Full Tilt Trophy. Congratulations Bharat!

Please be advised that due to the huge turnout for Day 1c of Event 8, the Tournament Director has capped the participation for tonight’s Event 9 – No Limit Hold’em Big Ante $70 + $10 at 100 players. In addition, no alternates will be admitted to the tournament.

We apologize for any inconvenience. Players who wish to play in the event are advised to come to Playground Poker Club this afternoon to purchase their seat in the event.
