Without any surprise, Philippe D’Auteuil, after leading the MILLIONS Finale throughout the whole day, bagged the biggest stack onto Day 2. He put away 5,412,000 chips, and his closest competitor is Zachary Donovan who finished the day with 4,515,000.
It was a very strong field that got together for the last big-buy-in event of the MILLIONS North America. World Champions, WPT winners and sponsored pros were doing their thing, playing casually and being friendly with each other.
This being said, players in that league know very well that being friendly doesn’t mean being weak. Ruthless play was to be seen, and Philippe ”takechip” D’Auteuil was the most ruthless of them all.
