Play in the MILLIONS Finale has been hand-for-hand for nearly 2 hours. As per partypoker rules, the clock has been paused after a full level of bubble time, and the countdown will resume on level 21.

Chance Kornuth has been taking advantage of the situation, harassing mid-stacks incessantly. Samuel Chartier has been doing a good job at staying afloat, going all-in for a little under a million on every orbit, on the button or the cut-off. On his last outing, he was called by Jonathan Duhamel from the big blind, but Chartier’s bigger ace prevailed.

On the other table, Louis Boutin enjoyed a double-up of his own when Anatolly Filatov called his 3bet shove with Queen of Clubs Queen of Diamonds. Boutin’s Ace of Hearts Ace of Spades stayed ahead.

Meanwhile, Aaron Mermelste’s stack was starting to hurt, and when he was dealt an ace in a late position, he took his chances and fired his less-than-a-million stack in an unopened pot. Unfortunately for him, he hit a wall called David Lopez.

Marmelste: Ace of Diamonds 3 of Clubs
Lopez: King of Hearts King of Diamonds

Board: 5 of Clubs 5 of Hearts Jack of Diamonds 9 of Spades 3 of Spades

Players are now in the money, and the next 3 to bust will have $25,000 for their efforts. Congratulations to all!

    Aaron Mermelstein
    David Lopez
