Chance Kornuth opened the action utg holding Queen of Diamonds Queen of Clubs with a raise to 550K. Zinno folded and when Kruk consulted his down cards, all was well: Ace of Hearts Ace of Diamonds. He chose to 3bet to 1.8M and Chance called.

The flop was made up of somewhat coordinated cards 6 of Spades 10 of Hearts 7 of Hearts and both players decided to check. On the turn 5 of Spades the board arranged itself even more cleanly – although both players were aware that based on preflop action, there was little chance that either player had connected. Kruk check-called a 1.75M bet and they both watched the river be dealt: 3 of Diamonds.

Kruk again led with a check, and this time Chance moved 2.4M forward, finding a quick call from Christopher who showed down his winning hand.

With that huge pot, Christopher is up to around 22M and has the lead by a large margin.

After losing a big hand to Anthony Zinno, Niall Farrell was playing a stack that was under 10bb deep and it was just a matter of time before he would get it in.

In the fateful hand. Niall was second to act and shoved holding Ace of Spades 3 of Clubs. Chance Kornuth was next to act holding 5 of Hearts 5 of Diamonds and flat called. Action folded around and the showdown was on.

The flop was Queen of Diamonds 6 of Spades Jack of Clubs – not much for Niall there – and then the 7 of Spades provided no lift whatsoever. The 10 of Diamonds on the river was a blank, and Farrell hit the rail.

    5th place: Niall Farrell, $100,000

Anthony Zinno has been short-stacked for the entire day so far, but his patience and solid short-stack play are paying off as he continues to ladder up – first into the money, and now past two pay slots – and now he has doubled through Niall Farrell – Firaldo – to give himself a pretty decent stack to take deeper on this final table.

Anthony opened the action with a raise to 550K. Action folded around to Farrell who opted to shove – but he was shoving into a monster: Anthony made the call.

Anthony: King of Spades King of Diamonds
Niall: Ace of Hearts King of Clubs

The board ran out 4 of Spades 10 of Clubs Jack of Clubs 3 of Diamonds 5 of Hearts and Zinno is up to around 8M.

There are just 5 players remaining and they have just returned from a scheduled break in the action. Darren Elias continues to have a big chip advantage, but there’s still a lot of play – the average stack is just under 50bb deep.

Victor Ramdin was utg and chose to open the action with an all-in shove for about 2.3M. The action folded around to Chance Kornuth (bb) who made the call after confirming the count.

Victor: Ace of Diamonds King of Hearts
Chance: 10 of Hearts 10 of Clubs

    A classic flip!

The flop had nothing for Victor: 9 of Hearts 6 of Hearts 5 of Clubs. The turn was a baby card, the 3 of Spades and another came on the river – 2 of Diamonds and Ramdin was sent to the Tournament Desk to pick up his payout coupon.

    6th place, Victor Ramdin, $80,000
