  • Big Blind: 6K
  • Ante: 500
  • Chip Average: 104.5K
  • Remaining: 39

  • After the last break in the 6-Max we noted very few large stacks and a large proportion of very short stacks left in the event. As that would suggest, the tide was about to turn and those small stacks were going to be folded into (or become in their own right) big stacks. And so it went – as of the last break, there were just 39 players remaining and there were several players with very large counts.

    1. Sabit Khandaken – 320K
    2. NT – 235K
    3. Timothy Vukson – 200K
    4. Christopher McClung – 195K
    5. Ron Grover – 190K

  • Players have just finished their second break of the evening and play has commenced in level 10. During the break we did a quick survey to find the leaders at the moment and found two big leaders and a few others with about double the average – and a whole lot of short stacks hanging around.

    1. Ami Alibay – 145K
    2. Paul Manoian – 145K
    3. Timothy Vukson – 95K
    4. Andy D’Alessandro – 90K

It’s time for another 6-max Event!

It’s Monday night, and as any regular player at Playground Poker Club will likely tell you, Monday nights are known at the club for their 6-max tournament! And with the Pokerstars Canada Cup in town this week, this Monday will feature a special tournament, with Event 3 – a $300 + $30 No Limit Hold’em 6-Max tournament, scheduled tonight at 7:30pm! If this weekend was any indication of how many players are in town for the series, we should expect to see quite a large attendance to this already popular event.

Tonight is also Game #2 in the NHL playoffs between the Montreal Canadians and the New York Rangers, and you can be certain that almost every television set in the club will be tuned in to the game. So what better way to spend your Monday night than to be playing in Canada’s premiere poker destination, with a complementary drink in hand and an exciting game of hockey to watch.

    See you tonight!
